Irelands longest running, and best,  comedy improv night “The Dublin Comedy Improv” has been performing in The International Bar since 1992.  thrilling audiences with their on the spot humour everything is made up on the spur of the moment all based on audience suggestions.

Imagine “whose line is it anyway?” with Irish accents.

The current players are Ian Coppinger, Michelle Read, Joe Rooney, Dermot Whelan, Paul Tylak, Tara Flynn, Kevin Gildea, Danny Kehoe and Sharon Mannion.  they have entertained people at many international festivals including Edinburgh, Adelaide, Melbourne, Iveagh Gardens Comedy, Galway Comedy,  Electric Picnic and remain the group who have been invited to play at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy festival more than any other group.

Over the years they have played alongside Ardal O’ Hanlon (Fr Ted), Dylan Moran (Black Books), George Wendt (Cheers), Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson), Paul Merton (Have I Got News For You) Phil Jupitus (Never Mind The Buzzcoks) Adam Hills (the Last Leg), Whose Line Is It Anyway cast members, the Second City and countless other improv troupes around the world.
